Fells Point and Federal Hill Engagement Session in Baltimore, Maryland. Getting Married at the George Peabody Library.

One of the happiest & giggliest couples I’ve worked with in a long time, and it was just the session I needed to break away from these COVID blues. A fun-filled Fells Point and Federal Hill Engagement Session in Baltimore.

Engagement sessions in general are one of my favorite parts of working with a wedding couple. It’s such a great way for you to get to take me on a test-drive (sorta-kinda-in-a-way-of-thinking), meanwhile, it’s the perfect opportunity for me to get to know the two of you as well!

Justin and Anna were nothing but wonderful to work with. We started off wandering their neighborhood, and we found several vibrant spots to work with. I love how her yellow dress pops against so many colored walls!

Next, we found ourselves in pretty much a secret garden. I mean – look – I know it’s cliche to call it that, but that’s exactly what it was! This tiny hidden gem of a garden in Fells Point with an abundance of flowers and greenery. Something I really love having my couples do is dips and spins. “Dip” her back to give her a kiss, then “Spin” her around! You know, give her a chance to practice her dance moves for you.

It’s just something playful and interactive that has the pair smiling away as they dance and play in front of the camera, while simultaneously forgetting about the camera and I so they can fully be in the moment with each other. Justin & Anna were too much for me to handle! I just love how their photos turned out.

Towards the end of their session, we made our way to Federal Hill which is right across from the Inner Harbor and has the most amazing view of the city. It was a little busier than I thought it would have been, but perhaps that’s because its one of the only parks that was open thanks to COVID. (Sigh, remember those COVID blues I was talking about?) Anyway, as soon as I got up there I knew this was going to be a really special photoshoot. Her bright, white, flowy dress was perfect for an engagement session with a backdrop like the City of Baltimore.
