Carolina Beach Family Photos | The Tanner Family

Check out these sweet Carolina Beach Family photos! Family sessions are always fun to do. There’s something special about being able to photograph the same family year after year when they come to visit Carolina Beach. Brian, Sarah, Caroline, and Jack make up the Tanner family. And it has been so fun to watch them grow! This year when I arrived to do their family photos, it was like catching up with old friends. We were talking about last year’s hurricane, their new jobs and where they moved to recently just to name a few. You get to know quite a bit when you work with the same family for a few years (which is a great thing, of course!)

Some of the favorite spots to visit include the nearby fishing pier, the rocks that decorate the dunes, and of course – everyone loves dipping their toes in the warm waters! And of course – the special treat for having an awesome family session is to visit the boardwalk. There they grab some yummy ice cream from Pop’s and maybe take a spin on the Ferris wheel!

I don’t get to do family sessions often but this is definitely one that I look forward to year after year. And what a difference a year makes! The cool thing about doing yearly photos is that we try to do some of the same poses year after year to see how their family has grown since we first met. Plus, it’s kind of cool to see how my style has grown as well over the years! I hope you enjoy your sweet photos and I cant wait to see you guys next year.
